Hot Dipped Galvanised (HDG) Panel Tanks

HDG PANEL TANKS

Hydraulically pressed tank panels with double flanges compliant with BS 1564:1975 & SS 22:1979. Hot-Dip Galvanised (HDG) meets ISO 1461:2009.

Manufacturing Specifications

General Application	Water storage for air-conditioner make-up, fire fighting and for food production (with Food Grade Epoxy Coating)
Standards	SUNNIK pressed steel sectional water tanks (rectangular) are constructed with hydraulically pressed flanged panels conform to B.S. 1564 and hot dip galvanized to ISO 1461:2009
Materials	Mild steel used in the plates, stays, cleats, and pads all conform to the requirements of BSEN10025:2004
Tank Panels	Tank panels of 4ft x 4ft or 1m x 1m square are hot dip galvanized to ISO 1461:1999
Tank Covers	Standard tank covers are hydraulically pressed 3.0mm / 1.5mm thk x 4ft x 4ft or 1m x 1m square and are hot dip galvanized.
Stays and Cleats	The sides and ends of all tanks shall be supported by stays at the junction of two or more plates. The stays and cleats shall be made from mild steel and hot dip galvanized.
Bolts and Nuts	Bolts, studs, nuts and washer conform to B.S. 4190 and are hot dip galvanized type.
Seismic (Earthquake)	Up to 1.5G with external reinforcement
Joining Compounds	Non-toxic, odorless PVC Foam Sealant and butyl sealant or equivalent shall be supplied.
Manhole and Vent	Each tank or compartment shall be supplied with one no. of 600mm square manhole and one 100mm diameter vent with insect proof attached on to tank cover.
Ladders	Hot dip galvanized ladder for tank internal and external are provided (aluminium ladder on request)
Level Indicator	Mild steel or galvanized indirect reading level indicator is provided on request.
B.S. 1564: 1975 (Revised)	For cold liquid with density of 1.0 and having temperature not exceeding 38°C. Tanks 4f t Height: Bottom, sides and ends. 5mm Tanks 8ft Height: Bottom, sides and ends. 5mm Tanks 12ft Height: Bottom, sides and ends. 5mm Tanks 16ft Height: Bottom and first tiers of sides and ends. 6mm Second, third and top tiers of sides & ends 5mm

Notes:

(1) Dispersion only applies to near spherical agglomerates. 9 of 10 views shall be Category 1 or 2. No more than 1 view from Category 3.
(2) Roll lengths and widths have a tolerance of ± 1%
GSE HD is available in rolls weighing approximately 3,900 lb (1,769 kg)
All GSE geomembranes have dimensional stability of ± 2% when tested according to ASTM d 1204 and LTB of <-77°C when tested according to ASTM d 746.
